CBS Dallas reported Nerissa Knight visited Innovations MedSpa in Dallas to learn about latest treatment for lips, to plump and smooth without injections.
Believe it or not, many women complain that when it comes to their lips, it's hard to put their makeup on and there are lines where the lipstick starts creasing. Hundreds of Dallas women are opting for a new non-invasive treatment called Lips by Thermage. Both women and men lose the tissue inside the lips, so as we get older, our lips look smaller. Dr. Bill Johnson of Innovations MedSpa says "Thermage uses radiofrequency to heat the collagen enough to damage it in order to form new collagen." The body then lays down new collagen. After mapping the procedure, a laser tip and machine are used to apply a deep frequencies. At times, the heat can be intense. We're told the results last up to five years but take up to 90 days to reveal the full results.
